微聲招喚

昨天下午去醫院探望一個「熟悉的近人」，對於右前額葉因腫瘤幾乎切除，左額葉也有部分切除的她，雖然外表看起來可以「聽見」我們所說的話，但自己「很難想像」她是如何「理解」話的內容。

適逢聖誕節，自己特別錄了幾首歌曲給她聽，喜歡唱歌的她，雖然大半的時間都在昏睡，加上因腦腫瘤引起的中風而無法清楚說話，但仍滿足地將播放器和玫瑰念珠一起握在手中。

儘管……在病床上的她無法參與聖誕彌撒，但我深信兩千年前誕生的耶穌，已經真實臨在我們的中間。

就像教宗方濟各在6月13日針對彌撒讀經《列上19：9-14》時提到：
「上主不在風暴、地震或烈火當中，而在輕微細弱的風聲裡、在和平內……上主準備厄里亞的心靈，並藉著考驗、服從和堅忍讓他作準備。」

【後記】
這首著名的聖誕歌曲，由Noel Regney作詞，Gloria Shayne Baker作曲，寫於1962年10月。當時他們於紐約市觀察人行道上童車裡的嬰兒，因而產生靈感所寫成的，藉以表達對和平的渴望。
